It's a monday, after flowery flowery pictures, here comes some delicious pictures! ngek ngek ngek!!

What delicious pictures?? alright, i went to a Chocolate buffet! Yes,

CHOCOLATE BUFFET!!

which means, we can eat as much chocolate as we like, chocolate cakes, chocolate bits, chocolate ice-cream, chocolate tarts, chocolate brownies, the list goes one... *drooling*

I was super excited before i go there. Imagine i can eat as much chocolate stuff as i like... imagine the satisfactions of it~ wah~~~~ *drooling again..*

So, we went there in a group of 9:

singking, khai chin, samantha's friend (sorry, i really 4get her name), samantha,
wei jien, kev, ernest n me.

So here we go!!! That's the table for us. Each of us can pay just Aud18 and you can eat anything there!!

The chocolate encyclopedia

see? chocolate bits in orange and mint flavours!

cheers girls!

introducing the varieties of tarts/desserts

chocolate cakes!
see the cute figure made from chocolate up the shelf?

dark chocolate brownies, white chocolate brownies, chocolate cakesss....

this is nice...

Wondering why we left so much? well, that's only my part! i did not take the left over by others.. it's really fulllllllll.....or satiates??
After eating half of each type of cakes and the brownies, I already don't feel like swallowing anything.

After trying some tarts which is full of cheese or cream, I really feel like stopping...
After trying some tarts with weird taste (eg: the chef may accidentally mix orange flavoured cough suspension into our tarts), I feel nausea.
After trying some ice-cream, I don't feel like eating any chocolates in another month!

Oh no!! we are all having phobia towards chocolate!!! really can't stand anymore... Ernest started to eat strawberry ice-cream after eating 1 round...

We walked out the bistro feeling disappointed, we expected to have more varieties and nicer cakes, brownies and tarts..
i'm not even feel like eating anything on my way back home though we passed by some food stalls...

anw, it's an experience, at least it gives me hope and happiness before i come.. haha!
but i'm not going to eat chocolate for the next month~~ =P

It's spring!!! So the flowers are blooming!

*春天花会开 鸟儿自由自在.....*

Toowoomba, Queensland's Garden City, holds their annual Carnival of Flowers from 19th to 28th of September. Since it's quite difficult if we want to go by public transport, so our brilliant Kev n Pey weon suggested to go by car! Yeah!!!

Therefore early in the morning, we went to collect our car:

So we went to meet Khai Chin in the city and off we go to Toowoomba! Kev was the driver and Ernest was the GPS navigator controller. Guess what's my responsibility? Haha, of course..... the sitting at the back doing nothing except chatting lo! providing some sounds to avoid the driver fall asleep, so noble~~~ hehe..

see how serious he is in driving?

see how enjoyable are we sitting at the back?

obviously i'm the one who take the pic while
everyone was busy finding the route to the park.

Scenery along the way:

Finally finally finally, after about 2 hours of driving, we reached our 1st destination!!!

Queens Park Garden

Outside of the park:
(we were like 'wah! wah!! wah!!!!' when the car drove past these decorations..)

these are not real flowers, just decorations..

Let's go into the park!!!

Umbrelliads
(concept of combining umbrellas and Bromeliad plants)

And here comes the blooming of COLOURFUL flowers!!!

group photo

taken from the 了望台

one alphabet for each of us except 'L'
(sorry, not enough alphabets for 8 people,
so have to 委屈 wei jien and his sis lo!)

don't you think this tree looks like a carrot half way out from the soil?

After seeing the colourful flowers in Queens Park Garden, we proceed to our 2nd destination!

Japanese Garden!

At the entrance:

and there we go into the park! 1st flower we saw was:

It's a tree symbolises the friendship between
people of Toowoomba and the people of Takatsuki.
(but the tree looks as if it is dying... hmm...
we were scared that we accidentally broke its branch when we took the pic)

what are they looking at???

calm pool + green trees + harmony families

the overall look of the garden..

After taking so many pictures of Japanese Garden, we then proceed to the 3rd destination!!

Picnic Point!

not sure whether is this one of the symbols of Picnic point..

It's name is 'Puppy', the mascot of Toowoomba.

I was so so so so excited to see such nice scenery from a highland!! I run and jump as if i'm a 10-year-old kid~ it was so so calm and comfortable to look at those mountains with the cool breeze...

Fly away~~
我要用力飞 不管有多远 超越了极限 挑战的冒险...
(as a result, all the people were looking at us... very paiseh..)

At the car park:

人比花娇~

pey weon is the designer and
i'm the model for the flower... =P

After enjoying the vast scenery from such high land, we decided that it's time for us to back to the city.. though i'm so reluctant to leave and hope to camp there... hehe..

We had our dinner in a japanese shop in Sunnybank (i forget the name already) who was full with customers..

kev's dinner: lavender milk soup with pork inside.

ernest's dinner: udon mee with fried chicken

my dinner: kimchi soup with the combination of seafood and pork inside

Actually we ordered drinks and paid for it, but because there were too many people in the restaurants and thus confusion occurred. Our drinks were taken by others!!! They drank our drinks though they didn't order the drinks! how unethical people can be!!

Since we had paid for it, we had to wait for our drinks though the shop was closing by that time.. Shops in Brisbane close very early..

What worth to be mentioned is that the names of the drinks are special and nice. Example:
Flower tea - true love, true temptation, alice....

After dinner, we continued our journey to Mt Coot-tha to see night view of the city!! Yeah!! excited~ excited~ excited~

It was so so cold up the hill.. Ernest did not get down the car as he went there before and it was really too cold.. The scenery was so so only, not as nice as what i'd expected. Since it was at night, the quality of the pictures are not good...

the bright dot is The wheel of Brisbane.

We did not stay long as everyone thought that it was too cold. After sending Khai chin back, we then went home..

It is a tiring day, for walking so so much under the bright sun, yet i'm satisfy for what i've seen. In conclusion, it's a NICE and HAPPY and CONTENTED day!!!

* haiz... 虽然开心, 可是我又黑了!!! 太阳晒到好像10 天没晒过酱~~~ 差点就中暑了啦!!擦sunblock 都无补于事... 又黑了!
又黑了! 又黑了! 又黑了! 难过啊~~~

* if u think my post has tooooo many pictures, i can proudly tell u that, it's less than 20% of the photos i took!!! more photos can be seen in facebook later!
