Tasmania.... being one of the states in Australia, is having spectacular scenery and definitely different from big city like Melbourne or Sydney. (i haven't been to sydney, but should be much 繁荣 gua... )

Winter is not really a good time to go Tas, cz it's too cold, but then who cares? I like winter mah, cold weather is better than hot weather... =P

After travelling to Melbourne, I fly directly from Melb to Hobart, capital city of Tas...

*对了, 写到这里... 不得不说, 这个trip 的确是我的 winter trip, 不过被我从冬天拖到夏天才写而已....太懒惰了..... 不好意思....*

Ok, I met with Ang Zen Yang (Ang) in Melbourne airport and then met with Ang Sheng Yu (XHong) and Mei Fern (MF) in Hobart airport... We get our Nissan Tiida car and here we go!!!!!

*the car was named as A Ju, according to its plate...*

Here we come discovering Hobart!!!

Our first destination is the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.

We did not plan to go to this tourist spot, just so coincidentally passed by when we took the wrong route, so we just go in and have a look....

Looks like nothing, right? Of course la! Winter mah... so cold, all flowers also die di lo!!! noob...
Not sure whether the white colour house far away is the Sub-Antarctic Plant House or not, but then we just walk around for awhile...

We then drive to buy some groceries to cook for our meals and then to our cabin for dinner...

1. Mount Wellington

We wake up very early in the morning, when i say very early, it means early......

With high hope, we drive up to the famous Mount Wellington..

Mount Wellington, rising 1270m from Hobart city, provides panaromic views of the city and also the Southern World Heritage Area from the summit. We thought that we could see the beautiful view of Hobart city before leaving to Strahan... Who knows.....

The road was so misty, so so so misty that we can even see far ahead.. which means it's impossible for us to see the view of the city.... SAD~~~~ DISAPPOINTED~~

What to do? we can only took some pic up at the carpark... but it's SO~~~~ cold and windy......
花了将近5分钟的时间戴帽子穿寒衣, 结果只是拍了不到5分钟的照就顶不顺冲上车了!!! 太太太....冷了....

Then we drive back to Hobart city and heading to Strahan..

We bought a National Park pass for our car, which is usable throughout the whole Tas... We just need to show the pass and we can enter any national park in tas...

2. Mount Field National Park

This is the first reserve area in Tas. It has 2 visitor sections, one to the Russell Falls and another to the Lake Dobson. We took the first one, which heading to Russell Falls. Being one of the 60 Great Short Walks, we can observe different types of fern trees along the walk track in Mt Field NP.
