3rd Destination: DREAMWORLD!!
Brief History:
Dreamworld is on Gold Coast and is the biggest theme park in Australia. It was opened in 1981 and throughout so many years until now, 2008, the theme park is now consist of many different level of rides and other facilities.
Since the Dreamworld theme park is in Gold Coast, which is in zone 10 from Brisbane City, we departed early in the morning just to hope to reach there as early as possible. The journey took us more than an hour....again...after the trip to Australia Zoo, i had another hour in train. @_@!
Finally, by 10.15am, we reached Dreamworld! Since we have a coupon, we all entered the theme park with kids price. Let me show some of the pictures that I took outside of the theme park before we enter it.
Then some pictures in the theme park before we proceed to the rides.
For your information, the theme park divided their rides into 3 different types, which are thrill rides, family rides and kids rides. Thrill rides are then graded into 3 ratings, which includes maximum, moderate and mild rides. Before proceed to the maximum thrill rides, let's see some moderate ones first. It is my warm up to accept the scary ones.
Gold Rush Country and some shops inside:
1st Ride: Thunder River Rapid Rides
(moderate thrill ride)
Last ride of the day: Rocky Hollow Log Ride
(moderate thrill ride)
Here we come to the MAXIMUM Thrill Rides!!! yoohoooo!!!
1st ride: The Giant Drop!
(maximum thrill ride)
Can you imagine yourself free-falling from 120metres from land? Can't imagine how high is 120 metres? It is 39 storeys, have an idea now? Are you brave enough to take that challenge? If yes, then you should try The Giant Drop, tallest ride in the world.
I'm a coward! I dare not take it! =p
my 3 friends who bravely take the challenge!! Salute them!

that's what happen when you free fall from 120 metres. p/s: my 3 friends are actually there.
2nd Ride: Tower of Terror
(maximum thrill ride)
It is one of the fastest ride in world, accelerating its passenger to an extend of 160kph in 7 seconds and then had a 100metre vertical free-fall backward. I tried this! Haha!
3rd Ride: The Claw
(maximum thrill ride)
It is all about pendulum! The difference from experiment that we did is that we are the metal balls used in pendulum model. We are the one who being swing high up the sky, swing down n up again! It even has 360 degrees turn with your legs dangling outside!!
4th: Wipeout
(maximum thrill ride)
We went to sit this ride right after the Claw, I'm not even back to conscious until I sat on it. We were twist and turn 360 degrees and even hang on the sky! Phew~ I'm so glad that I did not see how it turns us before I get on the ride, or else I doubt I have the guts to have a try on it...
Actually I recorded a video about this but too bad, I can't upload it... =(
5th: Vortex
(maximum thrill ride)
This is the game that sucks .... you to the wall! haha! It spins and plastered the person to the wall enabling you to change your post to whatever you like on the wall. It is fun and I played twice!
see? you will be plastered on the wall when it starts to turn faster and faster!
6th: Cyclone
(maximum thrill ride)
This is a ride which alike with Genting Highlands' roller coaster which consists of two 360-degree loops.
So these are the six maximum thrill rides in Dreamworld!
Now let's see some moderate thrill rides.
Of course some kids rides:
(I feel like having advertisement for Dreamworld!)
We were so surprised and excited when we get to touch and pat the tiger!!!
It is so thin...I can even touch its bone!
An unforgettable experience!!
Ya, i know it looks silly, but since I dare not surf in real water, so just posing for it lo!
syok sendiri!
Help! The shark is swallowing me!!! @_@|||
Anw, it is this shark that I bang my head on it ACCIDENTALLY..
worse still, a family saw it n they said: oh, poor shark....
paiseh loo!!

These end my trip in Dreamworld. It is indeed an exciting day and I have tried many rides which I thought I may not dare to. What to do? I already pay for it. Haiz.. However it is a new experience for me but I doubt will I dare to try it again in the future. I'm not that brave though.
So let's end this looooong post with pictures taken in a Korean restaurant when we ate dinner.
