Introducing the Wheel of Brisbane at Southbank!
The small white dot above the wheel is the moon of the night before Mid-Autumn Festival, looks so small, right?
The Wheel of Brisbane weight approximately 300tonnes and has 42 gondolas providing panoramic views across Brisbane city and Brisbane river.
It is the Australia version of Eye on Malaysia.
and i went for a ride...
at the bottom of the wheel:
the ticket costs me Aud15. So must take a picture with it.
they are so considerate!!
asking the passenger to beware if they are wearing high heels,
but i'm not!! haha!

see the colourful building behind us?
it's the Casino in Brisbane city,
normally it's in purple colour, but it will change its colour from time to time!
so high tech~

After all the photo of ourselves, there are some of the views....
Though the Wheel seems nice and the scenery is spectacular, i still think The Eye on Malaysia is nicer. Why? Because i'm patriotic? haha, i think maybe because i can c the whole view of KL from The Eye which normally i don't get to. In Brisbane, the buildings are seldom tall, thus the scenery from the ground and from the gondolas make no big difference; but in Malaysia, all the buildings are skyscrapers, the view from the top of The Eye on Malaysia is fantastic.
oh ya, miss something out, The Wheel of Brisbane is elegant with the white light; The Eye on Malaysia is gorgeous with different colours.
So just have a look with The Eye On Malaysia!
